Welcome to our little Neapolitan Pizzabar & New York Slice Shop! I am Juan Vergara, a 20 year veteran restaurateur and pizza maker reviving the passion for pizza-making. After working alongside local master pizzaioli in the historic Spanish Quarters in Napoli, Italy and also working in pizza making since I was a teenager I have brought to Clveland the most unique dual concept pizzeria ever made. The recipes, fermentation techniques, and spirit of those experiences now live here in every pizza made.

Enter La Pecora Slice Shop where you can find a naturally leavened and carefully fermented sourdough pizza in the form of whole pies and slices made with New York Tap Water (yes, I drive to NY to get water for our sourdough starter). Pastas and other treats await in this nostalgia driven New York-style Cafe. Order seamlessly, sit and eat anywhere, get some work done or simply enjoy the slow moving pace of our lively, family friendly space.

Ready for a true and authentic Neapolitan pizza? Our Pizzabar becomes alive in the evenings. Reserve, check-in, and walk through the red curtains to encounter a beautifully restored two story loft with a "pizzabar" that offers full view of our pizzaiolos masterfully crafting and baking pizzas in our imported wood-fired oven. Enjoy an Italian wine, spectacular but relaxed hospitality from our staff and become a familiar face. In this place, regulars are treated like family and offered special fermentation options on their pizzas.
